Rodney is a native of Grundy and is of the pentecostal faith.  He has been pastor of the Church of Jesus for over 8 years.  He holds a degree in Theology from Life Christian University.  He is married to Tammie and they have 3 children - McKenze, Brooke, and Isaac.
